     Are you looking for a summer job that is fun, exciting, and rewarding?  Well, if you are, we may have a spot for you here at Big Sandy Camp.  We wish everyone could experience at least one summer in the camping ministry.  We encourage you to give us a call or write if you are interested in a full-time summer staff position or a Volunteer Counselor position for the summer of 2008!

Core    Counselors $150/week
Program Staff $140/week
Food Service $140/week
Lifeguards $140/week
Returning Staff $15/more/week
  • $25.00 credit in the camp store, good toward the purchase of camp apparel
  • Accidental insurance, room and board
  • Crown College students receive a $250/semester grant from Camp

  • Crown College will match that grant making it a $500/semester grant for a total of $1,000 extra tuition money for the year!

 2008 SUMMER STAFF

 

     Counseling and program staff are needed from June 1st through August 9th.  This includes a week-long training camp.  Some staff may be invited to work past August 9th to help with some rental groups.  While it would be ideal for all staff to be available for the entire summer, exceptions might be made to allow for personal scheduling conflicts.  A $50 bonus, however, is given to those staff that complete the entire 10 weeks of their contract without missing a day.
