Planning YOur retreat

We are grateful that every retreat season brings dozens of groups and organizations to Big Sandy Camp. We have many more that call and inquire about activities, dates and availability. If you are considering an event with us, whether it's an annual visit or your very first time with us, planning ahead with us will assure you of your desired dates. As a confirmation of your reservation and in an effort to prepare for and serve your group most effectively, a contract will be prepared for you. Every group event requires a contract and a deposit to hold your dates!

Once we have confirmed the retreat dates and other arrangements, we will prepare a contract for you. Your dates and housing locations will be identified. A guaranteed minimum cost will be calculated based on the numbers you provide. A deposit will also be calculated based on the facilities you have requested. The contract must be signed and returned with the deposit check within 30 days to reserve the dates.

If you are a returning group you may roll your deposit over to the following year. If you desire to secure dates from year to year, please make your arrangements early!
